
1. In general
1.1. The National Philatelic Exhibition 101 is organised by the Hellenic Philatelic Society to celebrate 100+1 years since its foundation.
1.2. The exhibition will be hosted at the Arts Centre, Parko Eleftherias, Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, 11521 Athens, from 2 to 7 June 2026, and will comprise 101 exhibit frames, as well as Philatelic Literature. The exhibition will also be hosted on its website, with the provision that the exhibits will remain there for a long period of time.
1.3. The exhibition has been placed under the patronage of the Hellenic Philatelic Federation.
1.4. The exhibition will feature exhibits in the following categories:
(a) Competitive.
(b) Non-competitive.
2. Regulations
2.1. In addition to the present Individual Regulations, the General Regulations for National Philatelic Exhibitions of the Hellenic Philatelic Federation also apply to the competitive category.
2.2. In particular, for competitive exhibits which will be judged solely online, the following supplementary provisions shall apply:
(a) The awards for the exhibits are expected to be recognised by the Hellenic Philatelic Federation.
(b) Exhibitors are required to send to the jury, in physical form and within seven days, any items requested from their exhibit for inspection. In the event of non-compliance or if the jury discovers that an item has been displayed in an altered or tampered form, the relevant award will be invalidated, and the incident will be reported to the Hellenic Philatelic Federation.
2.3. Non-competitive exhibits are not required to follow the regulations, nor to belong to a specific philatelic class. It is only necessary that they qualify as philatelic in some sense.
3. Participation
3.1. In competition, the exhibitor may participate with:
(a) A one-frame exhibit, which will be displayed both in the exhibition hall and on the website.
(b) An exhibit consisting of more than one frame, in which case only a single-summary-frame (which will not be judged) will be displayed in the exhibition hall, while the complete exhibit will be displayed on the website.
3.2. In the non-competitive category, the exhibitor may participate under the terms of paragraph 3.1., but for exhibits consisting of more than one frame, publication on the website is optional.
3.3. Regardless of category, the exhibitor may participate exclusively on the website with an exhibit of 1–8 frames, which will be published as submitted.
3.4. Exhibitors may apply to participate in the hall with up to three exhibits, indicating on the entry form their desired order of priority.
3.5. The Organising Committee of the exhibition will give priority to enabling the largest possible number of exhibitors to participate. If any frames remain available in the hall, these will be allocated by draw.
3.6. The deadline for submitting applications to the Organising Committee is 31 March 2026.
4. Participation fees
4.1. Participation fees are set as follows:
(a) Competitive Category:
- One-frame exhibits: €25.
- 2–8 frame exhibits: €10 per frame with a minimum participation fee of €25.
- Philatelic Literature exhibits: €25.
(b) Non-competitive Category:
- One-frame exhibits: €25.
- 2–8 frame exhibits: €5 per frame with a minimum participation fee of €25.
- Philatelic Literature exhibits: €25.
4.2. Participation fees must be paid by 30 April 2026.
5. Awards
5.1. The awards will be decided by Greek international and national judges who have in-depth knowledge of the Balkan region and the Eastern Mediterranean.
5.2. Each exhibit will receive:
(a) A special commemorative medal of the Hellenic Philatelic Society for the 101st anniversary.
(b) A certificate, as customary.
6. Security measures
6.1. The Organising Committee will take all necessary measures to protect the exhibits during the exhibition. However, the Organising Committee and the Hellenic Philatelic Society, the volunteers, and the staff of the Arts Centre do not bear any liability for loss or damage, in part or in total, which might occur in any exhibit while at the Arts Centre. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that the exhibitors seek insurance coverage of their exhibits against all risks at all times their exhibits are at the Arts Centre.
7. Amendments
7.1. The Organising Committee, in agreement with the Hellenic Philatelic Federation Consultant, reserves the right:
(a) Τo modify the terms of these Individual Regulations and, at the same time, inform the exhibitors.
(b) Τo decide on any matter not covered by the Regulations referred to in Article 2.
