1993 Grand Opening of the offices of the Union of Greek Collectors of Maximum Cards (UGCMC): Panayotis Ioannidis (HPS Vice President), Margarita Kotopouli (UGCMC President), Theodore Papaeliou (HPS Secretary), Neoklis Zafeirakopoulos (HPS Council Member), Anthony Virvilis (HPS President), Nikos Mallouchos (UGCMC Vice President), and Panayotis Georgitsos (UGCMC Treasurer). In late 2022, the UGCMC donated the offices to the HPS.
1984 The HPS Medal was established as the Society’s highest honour, awarded annually to individuals or organisations.

1928 The HPS acquired its first permanent premises, at 26A Patission Street, Athens. The recipient, Herbst (Herbert) Munk, edited most chapters of the Kohl Briefmarken-Handbuch.

1923 Stephanos Macrymichalos promoted Philotelia, one year before its publication. The addressee, Fritz Seifert, wrote the book Baden–Handbuch, Teil I: Vorphilatelistische Stempel [prephilatelic postmarks].
