Hermes Club sincerely thanks its old and new members who have voluntarily contributed, responding to the call for financial support of NOTOS 2015 International Philatelic Exhibition. The exhibition is a pioneer of its kind mainly for two reasons:
– for the first time in Greece an international philatelic exhibition with the participation of 36 countries is planned and implemented by a philatelic society and not by financially strong State institutions.
– for the first time the financial burden of an international exhibition is exclusively carried by a philatelic society, based on its own financial means and the support of its members and friends.
Two months in advance of the opening of the exhibition, two thirds of this year’s target of 15,000 euro have been donated, which will be the Hermes Club’s contribution to the exhibition’s budget.
Today we call upon all old Hermes Club members and its new friends to contribute to this effort so that we can rise to the expectations of the Hellenic Philatelic Society.
